About
I build the part of frontend work that sits between design intent and a product a team can keep changing.
I’m Jordan Martinelli, a frontend engineer working primarily with React and TypeScript. I care about how an interface behaves, how its states are modeled, and whether the implementation still makes sense after the first release.
My work has included building product frontends from scratch, modernizing inherited React and React Native codebases, shaping design systems, and helping other developers ship inside them. The common thread is making visual quality repeatable instead of fragile.
This site is where I publish the smaller observations behind that work: interaction studies, implementation patterns, and notes about the decisions that rarely survive a static mockup.
